Mimi Marcellou studied physical therapy and pursued postgraduate studies in New York, where she also worked professionally. Since 1998, she has been the Executive Director of Physical Therapy PRAXIS®,” which is the base of her professional activity to this day. She is the founder of the programs “Pelvic Floor Act®,” “Μ.Α.Μ.Α®,” and “Fit2Feet®,” focusing on the rehabilitation of pelvic floor dysfunction and Women’s Health.
Her extensive knowledge and skills in the rehabilitation of issues arising from musculoskeletal conditions and injuries include a special focus on helping women, actively working in the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic women and top-level athletes. Committed to the principles of prevention, continuous education, and awareness, she promotes information on the rehabilitation of issues arising from breast cancer, with a vision and mission to improve quality of life. She is the Vice President of Europa Donna Hellas, a member of the European Breast Cancer Coalition, the Panhellenic Physiotherapists Association, and the International Continence Society (ICS).
