postnatal physical\u00a0therapists by teaching them how to undertake a full assessment of the pelvic floor\u00a0and the abdomen during the perinatal period in order to develop a therapeutic\u00a0rehabilitation plan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Learning outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recognize the musculoskeletal changes that occur throughout pregnancy\u00a0and during birth.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Improve your ability to palpate the female pelvic floor complex and external\u00a0pelvis.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Introduce biofeedback for treating postnatal women.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Learn how to use vaginal dilators to treat sexual dysfunction.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Get help modifying the pelvic floor exercise regimen during pregnancy.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assess and treat diastasis recti.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Learn how to do perinatal core restoration.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Improve critical thinking skills in perinatal cases with case study discussion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>The information is immediately applicable to clinical practice.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Prerequisite knowledge: Pelvic floor anatomy, assessment and dysfunctions &amp;
