She graduated in 1990 from the Technological Educational Institute (T.E.I.) of Physiotherapy in Athens and completed her Master\u2019s Degree (M.A.) in Pathokinesiology at New York University (NYU) USA in 1994.<\/p>\n<p>Her professional career began in the United States, where she worked in rehabilitation centers in positions of responsibility and educational roles. It was there that she began her work in pelvic floor physiotherapy, under the guidance of Elizabeth Noble, founder of the Women\u2019s Health Physical Therapy department of the American Physical Therapy Association. Since 1996, she has been active in Greece, and in 1998 she co-founded the physiotherapy clinic \u201cPhysical Therapy PRAXIS GP\u201d with Mimi Marsellou, which remains the base of her clinical practice to this day.<\/p>\n<p>Focusing on the rehabilitation of pelvic floor dysfunctions, she co-founded and coordinated, together with Mimi Marsellou, pioneering physiotherapy programs such as \u201cM.A.M.A.\u00ae\u201d (2003) and \u201cPelvic Floor Act\u00ae\u201d (2015). These programs are designed for women during pregnancy and postpartum, as well as for men and women experiencing bladder and bowel dysfunction, prolapse, sexual dysfunction, and pelvic pain.<\/p>\n<p>As the founding President of the \u201cPhysiotherapy in Women\u2019s Health\u201d Department of the Hellenic Physiotherapists Association, she played a decisive role in introducing the field of physiotherapy for pelvic floor dysfunctions in Greece.
